The City of Edmonton has adopted a public involvement policy to guide consultation processes for all municipal decisions, from major policy reforms to infrastructure projects. Discover the implications and lessons learned in transforming public input into value for communities and municipalities.
• Bring corporate consistency to public consultation initiatives.
• Build awareness around consultation scope, purpose and objectives.
• Translate long term objectives and public input into action.
Learn how the Involving Edmonton Policy and Framework was successfully used in recent consultation projects in the City, including the SE/West LRT Concept Planning Project.
Access: The hotel is one block south of Jasper Ave, with easy access from the LRT at either Central or Bay/Enterprise Stations. Parking is available at the hotel at a flat rate of $5 + GST. Please enter the hotel parkade from the top, and stop and pay for your parking at Reception before entering the parkade (you will need a key card to enter the elevators in the parkade). On street and surface parking lots are also available close to the hotel.
