Benefits of Membership

Our members comprise a diverse and growing group of people who design, implement, use, and participate in public participation processes. Membership to IAP2 Chapters is automatic with a membership to the International Association for Public Participation. The benefits of a membership with the Wild Rose Chapter of IAP2 include:

Bi-Annual Wild Rose Conference and Annual International IAP2 Conference – Learn the latest trends and innovation in public participation, attend skills workshops, and see local public participation projects first hand. Member discounts apply to registration fees.

IAP2 Public Participation Training – IAP2 certificate training consists of three modules that focus on the fundamentals of public participation. After completing all three modules, students receive a Certificate in Public Participation from IAP2. Member discounts apply to registration fees.

Wild Rose Members-only site – exclusive access to:

• An online forum - pose questions for discussion with with other Wild Rose members

IAP Members-only site – exclusive access to:

Member Locations

There are over 190 members in the Wild Rose Chapter. Our members are located throughout Alberta, predominately in larger centres like Calgary and Edmonton. But we are also located in many smaller and more rural communites throughout the province. Any IAP2 member who is a resident of Alberta automatically becomes a member of the Wild Rose Chapter. IAP2 members who live outside Alberta may also request to join the Chapter.
